Nitrile glove sizing for teams: a practical stock guide

Reduce splits, bunching and wasted boxes with a better mixed-size ordering plan.

Fit affects comfort, control and how often a disposable glove fails. A useful team-size plan starts with actual wearers rather than a default carton of large gloves.

What a good fit looks like

The glove should sit close across the palm and fingers without pulling hard at the webbing or cuff. Fingertips should not leave large loose pockets, and the cuff should roll on without excessive force.

Build a first mixed-size order

Ask a representative group to trial sizes, record the preferred fit and turn those results into percentages. Keep a small buffer of the sizes on either side because tasks, hand moisture and personal preference can change fit.

Review after the first carton cycle

Track which sizes remain and which disappear first. Adjust the next order from evidence instead of repeating the original split. Multi-site buyers should check each location because workforce mix can vary.

Procurement tip: Include size split, cartons per delivery, delivery postcode and expected ordering frequency in a bulk quote request.
